Astrantia major ‘Roma’, one of the prettiest Astrantias, I have particularly fond memories of a very nice girl in my primary school called Roma, so it will nearly always find itself in one our planting schemes.
As I sit here typing, looking out of our window on the garden, watching the blackbirds peck at our strawberries, and the hedge sparrows enthusiastically and greedily devour the June berries of the Amelanchier, I wonder, where is Summer?
