A Kentish Barm

We were delighted when this lovely couple asked us to come and look at their garden, for we had designed a garden for them at a previous house about twenty years ago.

A yorkstone terrace was created at the rear of the house, replacing a timber deck, and a hot tube was removed.

To the side of a house, an avenue of Amelanchiers was created, and in the centre is brick courtyard, with a Magnolia in a ragstone circular planting bed which can be viewed out from the dining area. The avenue culminates in a flowering cherry encircled by lavender. The rear terrace leads to larger terrace for dining, in which one can look up the path to the avenue of trees, or out towards the apple orchards and distant hills.
