A Rill and An Avenue

 

We were delighted to be contacted by this couple to design their garden for them, as they had been our very first client thirty years ago in a previous house.

A rill, with surrounding planting, and a feature bowl at the head of the rill, simple, elegant paving with brick inlay detail around a level lawn, leading to a studio, through an avenue of cherry trees. Garden ornaments from the original house were brought by our clients and incorporated into the scheme.
