Greenhouse and Vegetable Garden

 

We were asked to design this garden; a side of house courtyard, a balustraded terrace from the kitchen, with steps down, and a sunset terrace lower down in the garden, tucked into a little bank protected by a low brick and ragstone wall.

Twenty years later, we were delighted to be asked to design a kitchen garden incorporating a greenhouse with a ragstone and brick base to complement the garden walls, and bounded by apple ‘stepovers’.

A small Stanley Fairbrother gazebo which we had sited in the garden was moved to provide a backdrop to a small pond created by the owner, and allowing a vista up the steps through to the small courtyard
