A Forest House

A garden for a forest house; a cedar deck that leads up to the front door, and wraps around the whole house, a bank retained by dry stone walling, and planted with ornamental grasses and umbelliferae, A little ‘back garden’ cut into a hill for cutting flowers for the house, and a small plum orchard is situated to the side. A levelled lawn planted with a ‘standing’ of white stemmed birches. All surrounded by large specimen trees including a mighty sequioadendron.
